Make your website more SEO-friendly?
What is seo?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It’s the practice of optimizing websites to rank higher in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, or other search engines you might know. When it comes to SEO there are many factors which contribute to your website ranking, but backlinks remain one of the most important factors whose importance can’t be stressed enough.
Backlinks are links to your website from other websites. They’re what give your website authority and ultimately determine how high your website will rank on a search engine result page (SERP).
What type of sites should i link my blog posts with?
Well that depends on the nature of the content that you provide on your site. For example if you are a fashion blogger and you write blog posts about the latest fashion trends, it’s best to link your posts with style and trend blogs which will give you backlinks based on the subject of your blog. So if somebody is reading an article for example on s
leggings they might be interested in seeing what other styles are popular this year so they might click on the link that you provided and visit your site. The person doing the clicking is not just one person but thousands of people who do that every day which means more traffic to your website. There are lots of ways to acquire backlinks but by far my favorite way is through blogging because it can result in hundreds if not thousands of visitors coming to your website each month as long as you do it right.
Find blogger to collaborate with
When you find a collaborator and start working together, both of your blogs will get more exposure and presence in the blogosphere. This is because once they post a link to one of your articles on their site, while you’ll get the benefit of new readers who’ve never heard anything about your site before, they’ll also gain new readers which then results in traffic growth for both sites. It’s an awesome win-win type of situation where everybody benefits from just doing what they do best! depending on your niche and the nature of your business it may be beneficial to contact other bloggers within that industry sector for example if you’re writing fashion related content and you want to get exposure (why else would you be blogging?) it’s best to contact fashion bloggers and offer them a link back on your website.
-So this is just what i wanted! How do I get started?
The first thing you need to do is start by registering on websites like: Google Plus, Twitter, Facebook and make sure all of those profiles are fully completed with 100% correct information (title, description etc.) because these will be the social media profiles that we’ll use to promote our new blog as well as the ones through which we’re going share content on other peoples sites too. What we want to achieve is for people within our targeted audience to see us as an authority in our field after a while they’ll start coming to us instead of someone else because they can see that we know what we’re talking about.
-Okay so you have a social media profiles created and now what?
Right! Now it’s time to find bloggers in our niche and start collaborating with them. For example if you’re a fashion blogger, you might want to join forces with other fashion bloggers who also have their own blog where they write articles about fashion related topics, this way when they get new readers from their blogs they’ll click on the link which will take them to your site too. In addition to putting links of other people’s websites on yours you should be writing guest posts for others sites as well since these are the types of actions that drive traffic back to you website.
